I love the Xmen !! Nothing better than snuggling up with my son early in the morning when i get home from a night shift to watch the XMen cartoon !!

UFOs s ? no not the flying saucer kind but the craft kind, to us a UFO is  UN Finished Object ! 

A few weeks ago I had loads of UFO s absolutely every where ! i seem to be getting on top of this and i only have : 

1. A ripple blanket
2. A rag rug
3. My leap year blanket
4. Hello Kitty Teddy.

So not so bad !!! 

My leap year blanket is going to take the year to complete that's the whole idea of it !! here's some recent granny squares that I made to go in it.

F.O Friday Mary Jane slippers and R is for Ravelry

I'm doing two Post in one today , just to confuse everyone ! firstly my finished Friday !
I did finished these a couple of weeks ago but my camera broke and had to get a new one. Anyway they are very cosy on my toes !!

O is for Osteoporosis, P is for pincushions

I attended a lecture yesterday on Osteoporosis , by The National Osteoporosis Society
Which is why Im a letter behind  But Im on catch up now. 
After hearing the lecture i thought hey thats my " O " its so important  to stock up on bone mass while you can and when your older to keep healthy to keep your bones strong !!!

A strange change from crochet and craft your probably thinking ! the simple reason well my real job is indeed a night nurse . So a prayer for me ,  my collegues  and all the night nurses who struggle each night in the lonely hours when the patient who is scared needs a caring nurse most . blessed be. xx

The Internet is my main source that I use to inspire me. there are too many craft sites and blogs out there to mention. I could spend all my time looking at fab photos and patterns !!

I'm doing   a year challenge of making a leap year blanket which involves making a granny square for each day. For Easter i will be making a square with a chick on it and good Friday i plan on a square with a cross.
