My 2012 Leap year blanket

Yes i know its 2013 .
 But this took me ages lol ! It was on going for a long time as it was often put on the back burner. But hey i did finish it ! Originally it was a Facebook group idea and together we all tried to do a square a day. But i must admit i got fed up and ended up swapping to a square a week.  The face book group is still going strong and I'm sure next year will do another challenge.  Its Yarn Crafters it you want to come over and join us !!

Most of the squares remind me of special days in 2012. Theres my children's birthday s, mothers day , St Davids day is my daffodil square ! ( pattern on this blog ) .

I really do love it now and yes it was worth the effort Ive also made some good Internet friends through the group.

Crochet Owl Bag.

 

I made this owl bag for my daughter , its my own pattern and I'm very happy with how it turned out ! 

I'm going to eventually write up the pattern on here.

Gosh its been a while since my last post. ( again ) arnt I hopeless !

F.O Friday Owl P.E Bag and hats for snowy days x

Well its cold but sunny here in wales at the moment we are expecting snow again apparently .
Ive been crafty as usual and got my sewing machine out and made a new P.E bag for my daughter , i brought 2 lovely fat quarters of a Owl pattern ( its got to be owl s hasn't it ! they are so in at the moment x )

Also have made a nice frilly scarf for my self and have made a few other things. 

the Hat  for my son was made quickly for the last lot of snow we had so he would be cosy when we went sledging xx
