Cosy easy to make crochet shrug

I love this pattern , its really quick and easy and I've had alot of compliments on mine.
I used a chunky wool by robin and the shrug cost £5 to make so cheap too !
Im so going to make more .

Crochet sunflower tunic.

This was probably my most complicated pattern that I've attempted and selfishly it was all for me too .
The pattern did say it was a weekend project but it took 4 weeks to do. remembering I work full time and have a family !  So maybe if I had a whole week end to myself and no need to put down my crocheting I might of got it done in a weekend lol !

Crochet Owl Hat set

I made these last year and haven't blogged about them. Probably because I actually never got to really wear them as it was such a mild winter !

I also made a matching Cardigan which for some reason Ive never photographed will have to do it some and pop it on here xx

My Crochet Clock and how to make !

I made my crochet clock to enter a craft show and got second prize. I am very pleased with it and it looks fab on my wall in my bedroom.

They are easy to make.
you need a clock mechanism ( they don't cost much ! ) cardboard foam numbers and buttons as well as your yarn .

1. with your first colour yarn make a magic loop.
2. 10 hdc into magic loop
3. change colour , 2 hdc into each stitch 
4. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into stitch repeat around
5. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 2 stitches repeat around 
6. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 3 stitches repeat around
7. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 4 stitches repeat around
8. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 5 stitches repeat around
9. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 6 stitches repeat around
10. change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 7 stitches repeat around
11. continue until you get a clock face the size you want !
12. stick on foam numbers and sew on buttons where numbers should be.

glue down onto cardboard and then add you clock mechanism

hang on wall and enjoy your own craft ! its unique !

I love granny squares ! who doesn't ? they are easy to do ! and if you think they are just for afghans well think again !

Mermaids hair jumper

I was uploading some photos from last year when i saw my mermaids hair jumper and thought hey I haven't put  this on my blog !
Mermaids hair was an expression i saw used on a facebook group describing the yarn i used.

Its RICO CREATIVE REFLECTION  yarn in candy. I love this yarn because as well as being sparkly and very yummy its very long ! The yardage is great and I made the jumper with 4 ball s !!!

Crochet Beach cover up top.

This was one of the fastest tops I ever made !  Its a beach cover up ! very quick to crochet up . I made it in 4 nights.

Easy shrug

I fell in love with rainbow coloured yarn and got this yarn for £3.50 ,  I made myself a little cute shrug to brighten up my summer ! Its my own design .

Stylecraft Jumper.

So fed up ! One of my fave yarns has been discontinued ! I made both my children lovely jumpers using stylecraft safari chunky yarn and it made wonderful patterns , quick to knit up ! I was planning on making more jumpers in the different colourways ! Completely not fair !

Dying my own wool

After looking around on the net i came across an excellent blog explaining it all. here's the link PEA SOUP OF THE DAY , So i got a ball of 100% wool and went found my cake food colourings out of my kitchen and this is the result !

 

It was great fun and my children helped me dye it. 

the end result was some unique leg warmers !
