After looking around on the net i came across an excellent blog explaining it all. here's the link
PEA SOUP OF THE DAY , So i got a ball of 100% wool and went found my cake food colourings out of my kitchen and this is the result !
It was great fun and my children helped me dye it.
the end result was some unique leg warmers !
Wow!! It turned out great! Love the bright colors and the variegation knits up wonderfully.

ReplyDeleteLovely! I *love* dying wool at home. I use Kool-Aid, mostly, but I have some Jacquard's as well. Yours turned out lovely!

ReplyDeleteDyeing is a lot of fun! Especially when the kids can help. I usually let my daughter help with the raw fleece.
