Eco Bags

Ive been wanting a sewing machine for yonks ! and i finally bought one this week. Now i haven't really used one for years and i was never that good !!
But Ive made a vow that i will use it and get better .
I made some Eco bags for my children out of old jeans and trousers , the kids love them ! .









also this week went to some charity shops and stumble on this excellent book for £2.50 !! bargain .

    You did a great job on those bags. They look great!! I have quite a few shorts/skirts/pants that have been grown out of by my kids that I have saved just for this purpose. Glad to see it actually works. Glad you kids like them :o)

    Great idea! I am getting my sewing machine out...I have way too many projects that need finishing off with some simple stitches. It's like riding a bike, right?

    I love charity shop finds, only this week I got loads of yarn, I go in every working day just to see whats about. I have lots of old knitting pattern books too. Possibly won't knit anything from them but its good to see what we were wearing back then
