I made my crochet clock to enter a craft show and got second prize. I am very pleased with it and it looks fab on my wall in my bedroom.
They are easy to make.
you need a clock mechanism ( they don't cost much ! ) cardboard foam numbers and buttons as well as your yarn .
- with your first colour yarn make a magic loop.
- 10 hdc into magic loop
- change colour , 2 hdc into each stitch
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into stitch repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 2 stitches repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 3 stitches repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 4 stitches repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 5 stitches repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 6 stitches repeat around
- change colour . 2 hdc into next stitch and 1 hdc into next 7 stitches repeat around
- continue until you get a clock face the size you want !
- stick on foam numbers and sew on buttons where numbers should be.
