F.O Friday ! Crochet Cushion .

I did granny squares on the front  , went for pastel colours for a change. All yarn is from my leftover supply.

Then for the back I use a jumper I never wore. 

I think it looks lovely !

How to do the jumper back can be found on ATTIC 24 . 

I love the idea ! Its very effective too !.

Twirling Skirt !!

At last I made a skirt for my daughter. It was so easy that I'm planning on making more.
She loves it as you can see from the photos...

My rag rugs coming on  slowly, I cant believe how much material it eats !!!

I'm sorting out every ones t shirts to cut up !! hope Ive got enough !

The reading book is distracting me though wish i could multi task and do both !!

F.O Friday !! A Granny shrug , Patchwork pillow and Recycled tshirts for teddys !!

well today is a bit of a tad ah !!! moment for me ! Ive made a granny shrug which I'm very proud of and i love to wear .An easy crochet pattern which is so quick to do that I'm tempted to make more, also can be a child's shrug as well you just don't do as many rows as the adults. I used a 12mm hook to get the tension i wanted.

Ive also been at my new sewing machine this week ,I've made a patchwork cushion .

and my children kept asking for clothes for their teddy bears like the "build a bear ", so we found old Tshirt's of theirs which involved lots of Tshirt's flying about their room while they hunted !!

The result isn't brilliant but my children are happy ! I did added a little patchwork heart to the girl Teddy's Tshirt .

W.I.P but how many ???

OK i have a confession to make, last night my husband said to me as i was happily crocheting in front of the TV . What are you doing now ? a cushion cover i started ages ago i reply ! he then said just how many started but unfinished projects have you got ?
HHHMMMMM good question......

Eco Bags

Ive been wanting a sewing machine for yonks ! and i finally bought one this week. Now i haven't really used one for years and i was never that good !!
But Ive made a vow that i will use it and get better .
I made some Eco bags for my children out of old jeans and trousers , the kids love them ! .

also this week went to some charity shops and stumble on this excellent book for £2.50 !! bargain .
