F.O friday ! jan 27th 2012 Beret

Ive made my mum a beret after i found out she keeps wearing dads hat that i made him for Xmas !!
I'm not   too sure if I'm happy with it. excuse the bad photos my 8 year took them of me trying the hat on . not really a nice photo of me just focus on the hat !!!

 Think I'm wearing it too far forward on my head and when i asked someone to take another photo they all refused !! lol

any way I'm off to see other F.O on

W.I.P no 1 for 2012

I'm posting a project that is going to take a year to complete. its my Leap year blanket made a square a day.
for more details on joining in on a leap year blanket please see my previous post.
I'm really enjoying this project and its hard just to do one square a day and not loads more !! Also because its going to be made up of 366 squares i have to do some very little ones or its going to be huge !

Thursdays thoughts for Jan 5th 2012 Leap year blanket challenge )

Very strange writing 2012 !!
This week im sharing a challenge that ive join in on facebook ... its not to late to join in too.
"The idea of this is for us to create our own special leap year blanket using squares. One square made every day to a total of 366 squares which will be sewn together to make the blanket. This can be made by either crochet, knitting or even a mixture of the two. this will be ideal for those starting out and learning the basic stitches up to the advanced levels with special designs and patterns."
